A Steel Fabrication Factory in Obour City, working 5 days a week and working with a number of leading names in Oil and Gas industry in Egypt. The factory exports to 41 destinations.
About the Job:
This is a full time job in Obour City, where selected candidate will:
Create and manage detailed project schedules for all fabrication and erection activities using Primavera P6, and ensuring the schedule aligns with contractual milestones.
Establish a clear WBS and define the sequence and logic of all activities, including procurement, cutting, fitting, welding, inspection, surface treatment (blasting and painting), and dispatch.
Identify and monitor the Critical Path to ensure key deadlines are met and proactively troubleshoot potential delays.
Regularly update the project schedule to reflect actual progress, analyze variances (planned vs. actual), and prepare comprehensive progress reports, S-curves, and manpower histograms for management and clients.
Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production data (e.g., manhours spent, material usage, rework rates) to assess performance, identify deviations, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Coordinate closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure the timely availability of raw steel plates, sections, and other components, preventing production bottlenecks (MRP).
Monitor machine and workstation utilization, identifying bottlenecks, and developing strategies for load leveling and capacity expansion to meet fluctuating demand.
Identify and track long-lead items (specialized materials or components) and ensure their procurement is integrated into the master schedule to avoid project delays.
